I really need to play catch up. Here is quick run down..Just the basics. I've uploaded the images info a slide show.... it was too hard to pick
2 weekends ago... We went out with Patti and Aaron, Rachael and Michael, and ALL the kids to Newton Dam and went boating and swimming. We a had a picnic lunch...a wienie roast. It was a blast.... we could kick our selves for not going out sooner. It's only about a 15 drive... We will remember it for next year.
Back in July -we had a fun time camping! Part of the week was up Green Canyon, and the 2nd half of the week was at High Creek. Both were about 20 min drives, and no fee areas. It was a lot of fun.
That would be about when I first broke my foot. I can't remember exactly when (I remember dropping a can on pumpkin on it).... but I could walk on it... so I figured... it's fine.. Well... after the peaches this weekend.. not so fine. Joseph gave me a foot run (I have an AWESOME husband) the first foot was great.... the second... well, that was one of the most painful experiences of my life - which resulted in a trip to the urgent care......(Everyone was pestering me about going. I finally gave in.)
Low and Behold...and x-ray later, and you can see the break... it is even curved like the can. So I'm in one of those walking boots... for foot injuries. Highly attractive.
There are pictures of the bike Rodeo - which Joseph organized and thoroughly enjoyed. He managed to mostly contain 15 boys ages 8-11, plus siblings. No one got hurt, no accidents, and most of all - I'm pretty sure the boys learned something.
Last, but not least, Yesterday was the Court of Honor, for the boys, from their trip to scout camp. Stuart earned 3 badges, and is working on finishing up a fourth, and his next rank advancement. He earned Pioneering, Wood Carving, and First Aid. He is finishing Environmental Science.
That should catch most everything up. I'll try to be more diligent with what is going on. OOHH.. there are some images from our date night... where Joseph redid the brakes on the car... and school is going well so far.
