So.,.... I can finally post this! For the last 4 1/2 weeks, we have been working on Rachael's house. It is a surprise for Michael.... who gets home in just a few hours, and does not have internet service. Otherwise I would I posted this sooner - but we didn't want him to see it.
Rachael has:
cleaned out her basement storage room, and organized everything. Everything now has a box and a place....as well as organized her laundry area!
She finished the taping, mudding and sanding in the Bathroom
Textured and painted the Bathroom
re-painted all of the trim work and re-finished the built in cabinet and drawers, including replacing all of the hardware
installed the cabinets and has the sinks set and ready to mount in place.
she has replaced the plugs and switches in the kitchen, bathroom, and hallways
Mudded and sanded the hallways and painted them and all of the trim and Doors
Patched and mudded the kitchen ceiling, textured and painted
painted the rest of the kitchen and all of the trim work
installed all of the hardware to hang her new curtains....
and cleaned her house from top to bottom!!!!
It Looks AMAZING! As soon as I have my camera back, I will post up a few pics. It really turned out well. Michael will be very surprised. We are all heading over there, to hide in the bath tub behind the shower curtain to see just how surprised. It will be hilarious!
OOOH.. and I should point out... the most amazing aspect? That she was able to accomplish all of this with 5 kids driving her nutty.
