Well, we are finally done..... at least with the corn. We decided to have and end of summer BBQ as well to celebrate. So we headed over to our place, and used the covered picnic area. It was great! Patti and Aaron provided steak for the adults....and Aaron (Patti's husband) is great on the grill.
Joseph brought out the Laser tag guns when the sun went down, and every one had a great time.
We took a lot of pictures, so I just added a slide show here, since I couldn't pick which ones to include.
We did have one surprise - there is an apricot tree in a vacant lot, across the street from Rachaels house. The owner is Rachael's visiting teacher, so we were able to havest those as well, so we were able to get quite a bit of Apricot Nector and Apricot Jam put up for this year.
